Paolo, would you say you're growing weary of self-made "Google experts" and consultants with a tunnel vision approach?
Absolutely, I’ll say it loud and clear: I am exhausted by the self-made “Google consultants” and clients with tunnel vision. It’s like a parade of people who’ve picked up a few tips from a quick search and think they’ve mastered the art, whether it's in business strategy, branding, or freelancing. They’re looking for shortcuts, formulas, some foolproof “recipe” they can follow without putting in the real work or engaging in deep, critical thinking.
These tunnel-vision thinkers are locked into one-dimensional solutions because they’re trying to apply textbook answers to real-world complexity. They don’t see that every business, every person, every problem is unique and that there are no one-size-fits-all answers in the real world. They’re blinded by buzzwords, by surface-level knowledge they can regurgitate but never really understand. They’re focused on micro-optimizations when what they need is a clear, adaptable vision.
True expertise isn’t about scraping answers from search engines. It’s about experience, trial and error, understanding nuance, and learning from failure. It’s about seeing the bigger picture, questioning what everyone else takes for granted, and daring to dive deeper than the shallow solutions you find on Google.
The people I want to work with are those who aren’t afraid of uncertainty, who know that the real answers aren’t easy or immediate. They’re willing to explore and adapt, to put in the work and approach problems from all angles. Tunnel vision and copy-paste solutions aren’t the answer—they’re the problem. I want partners who think beyond the obvious, who challenge conventional ideas, and who recognize that true expertise requires commitment, curiosity, and a relentless drive to dig deeper.
